Want to help the kids in our community? The fair runs completely from volunteer hours, every superintendent and board member is a volunteer. We aren’t asking that you help year round, we just need help the week leading up to the fair and during the fair. What help do we need?

Someone to watch over crafts in the green barn – shaded, seated

Green Barn Setup – this happens the week prior to the fair and includes hanging pictures, arrange lego displays, put ribbons on the entries post judging.

Mini Farm – new this year is our kids educational mini farm – we need people to help collect the items the kids scavenged and return them to the various barns.

Runners – we always need someone that can run something somewhere! Even if it’s just taking water to each of the barns for the superintendents.

Pocket Pets & Cats – we need someone to help supervise the arrival, the judging, and the check out process for these entries. They come in just for a day in the Green Barn and then they leave in the evening.

Somethings aren’t as pretty – we have garbage, it happens, its all volunteer and we need to keep the grounds clean for everyone in attendance.

Floating Helpers – Barn superintendents are responsible for all the livestock, entries, and kids in their barn. But sometimes, we really need food and a bio break, we need people that can help enforce safety rules while a barn superintendent steps out for a few minutes.

Even if you can only help in the evening, a couple of hours, only on the weekend, the hours you donate help us ensure the kids get the opportunity to show off their hard work and skills. Reach out to the fair office to volunteer 509.276.2444
