Greenhouse Community Center
It is through your generous donations that the Greenhouse is able to exist and operate to help
you,
your relatives, and your neighbors who need a "hand up".  Our customers
who come to the Thrift Store are looking for goods that are in near new and /
or good condition.  Items that are broken, in need of repair, or just plain worn
out never make it into our store - these items must go into the garbage and an
expensive fee must be paid to dispose of them.  We do not have the staff to
repair items.  This is a drain on our resources we would rather use to assist
others.  To help get the maximum benefit from your contributions, please ask
yourself these two questions before putting items into a bag or box for the
Greenhouse:
Can these items be used in their present condition?
Would I feel good about giving these items to a good friend?

Furniture, glassware, kitchen and household items, toys, tools, sporting goods,
and apparel are especially useful.

*  Gently used" items are best.
*  Clothing and shoes should be in good condition that you would wear.
*  Household items must be in usable condition.
*  Any seasonal items at any time.
